San Diego Extras
Photographs that didn't make it into the "main" San Diego Gallery. Maybe not quite good enough. Maybe not good at all but a reminder of something I need to re-shoot. Maybe better than some of the photographs in the main gallery but too similar to a photograph I think works better.
Above the Clouds at Palomar Mountain
Definitely one of my favorite things to photograph in San Diego. I'm often checking the Boucher Hill and Birch Hill cameras to see if Palomar is at or above cloud level.
Sand Patterns
Low tide sand patterns. I'm predictable - in the winter months when there are super low tides at sunset I'll be somewhere between the gliderport and the North Beach parking lot. What's less predictable are the sand patterns. Sometimes I can't believe what I'm seeing and I'll be bent over, squatted down trying to find the most interesting angle, totally oblivous to everything but what I'm seeing in the viewfinder. Other times there's really nothing to see and I'm thinking about how early I left work, what time I'll get home and when I'll catch up on the work I put off to go to the beach.

Wouldn't know it from the pictures below, but I don't always go to Font's Point when I go to the desert.

City
My son likes the city. So maybe I'll take some more shots around downtown in the future.
